About Us
Grand Master Bayley began practicing Taekwondo at the age of 6 and has gone on to compete in rings around the world, including as a US Olympic Team member, and as a USA Taekwondo National Team Member and Coach. Her experience doesn’t stop there. She is also a 2-0 boxing champion and has competed in MMA and Krav Maga for over 5 years.
She is Ohio's most decorated female US Taekwondo Coach and former US National Team athlete, being in two Halls of Fame and awarded Speaker of the Year by the South Chamber Safety Council. She is also the only female in Ohio and the surrounding states to have tested and been certified in Seoul, Korea.
She turned her passion for Taekwondo and fitness a business in 2000, when she opened Total Taekwondo & Fitness. Her continuing goal for TTF Is is to make it the best in martial arts by offering the highest quality training for students and community members seeking self-defense skills, Olympic competition-level training, assistance with everyday fitness goals, character development, and exploration of self-confidence.
Her approach to teaching is to stay rooted in the philosophical principles surrounding Taekwondo while also giving her students the freedom to explore themselves through innovative and individualized approaches to reaching their fullest potential.
Her mantra through all of this? Relentless Empowerment. Whether it's her students, her friends, or her community, empowering others is Christina's goal.
When she's not investing in the well-being of her students, Christina can be found making memories with her closest friends and her soulmate in dog form, Halo, and staying active in the sunshine. Her soul feels most nourished by sunshine, the ocean, and finding time to travel. Something that may surprise you about Grand Master Bayley is her love for Asian and Mexican food, as well as a good podcast.
